• Re: Dynamic Data

Hi Brian - The Method API allows you to interact with the data in Method (such as retreiving a list of customers, or inserting an invoice). It isn't used to actually create a user interface. To create a user interface in Method, it's done by creating and customizing screens directly in Method itself - no coding, just ...

  • Re: Calendars off one hour

Richard - Can you check now? I logged in just now and it seemed fine from the Eastern time zone. I also tried logging into a computer on Central time and it seemed fine too. I think you are on to something with the daylight savings time, though. Perhaps what happened was that the servers are in Central time and ...

  • Re: Updating Version for Screen ActivityStatus....Please wait. 4 of 86

Richard - we did a big platform upgrade yesterday evening. This is the culmination of the development team's efforts for the last two months putting in fixes and new features into Method. I don't think you'll really see any of the "goodies" right away. What this platform upgrade does is let us now start to create ...

  • Re: Documents feature

You can always customize the screen and edit the calendar to specify your own start and stop times. If you do that though, you'll break from the built in calendar screen, so your customized screen won't get updates that we make - and we do plan on making updates. We're planning on more enhancements to the ...

  • Re: Direct access to mssql server tables

Sorry for not replying sooner. I didn't see your reply. FYI - Method has a report designer. It's pretty powerful. I would say it is comparable to what you would get from MS Access reporting. .....Method can do a lot!

It's ALWAYS been there.........same as Call Center >> Solutions and Call Center >> Cases! Just kidding - we just launched it. Danny's going to be doing a blog entry about it soon. There are a bunch of goodies coming out. Did you see the new ...

  • Re: Direct access to mssql server tables

With the MethodAPI you don't have direct access......but it is pretty close! You are pretty much writing SELECT statements against the SQL data. You have full control over which fields you are pulling in, and your WHERE is completely SQL format. Have you used the API yet? If not, you'll find it is pretty much what you ...

  • Re: Filter by Open Sales Order

Hey Alex - Just wanted to give you a heads up. Not sure what your plans are for your Sales Order screen, but we have an updated Sales Order screen "in the labs" that we plan on pushing out over the weekend if all goes well. The default Sales Order screen will take advantage of some of the recent base ...

  • Re: Pricing Levels

TogsTeam, if that was the business model we wouldn't have gone to the effort of creating an end-user customizable environment. If that was the model, we would have just provided users with a hard coded version, hired a bunch of programmers and become a custom software shop. I'm assuming you don't really ...
