When editing a snapshot, the value clears if you open the snapshot to edit. ..say the filter criteria. You can reselect and it saves oK.

Here is the use case... I add a text box on a screen "designed by Computer Bookkeeping Solutions" and format as a link. I want it to go to a specified web page.
