I can appreciate that 10 years ago this might have been a reasonable solution, but today, requiring people to store files on a different server, find the direct URL, go back into Method and create a separate link to the file is rather archaic. It adds extra steps and unnecessary overhead.

You can create links in Method that point to externally shared documents on other services, such as Google Drive or Dropbox. You users would then click the document links in Method and be redirected to their document on whichever service you've linked to.

Hi Allison,
Maureen is correct. On Step 3 of the grid wizard, select the desired Filter View from the dropdown, then click New / Edit....
In the resulting pop-up, check the box for This is the default view for the grid, then click Save & Close. This should now be the default view for the grid.

Have you tried right-clicking on the screen and clicking Reload screen? What about right-clicking on the tablink bar and choosing to refresh the page? Which browser are you using?

Hello,
One of the features we are trying to use with Method is the ability to upload .zip files and provide a way for our clients to download them via their portal. I worked out the portal issues, but now when I try to upload a 22 MB file, the screen seemingly times out.
I read previously that you limit files to 5 MB. Is this still true?

how do I combine 2 customers, I have two customers in method, only one in QB. method has Smith,John & Smith, John. ( space is missing from after comma) they seem to be sharing the same activiites, cases and transactions are different.

Hi Allison, When you customized the list did you go into the filter named "Shared Occurances" select to edit it and then checkmark the "make this my default" box? (Note: It might just say default view or something I don't remember exactly.)

Yes, all the links are updated correctly. It's almost like there is a delay, as if there is a cron job running every so often to update the screens for contacts. If I walk away from it for a period of time and then come back, it will be updated. But the changes I make to the screen are not visible immediately after publishing.
