Hi Allison,
Contact is a required field, there is no way to do this. Customers need a Main Contact to sync with QuickBooks, so Leads do as well, since they'll eventually (hopefully) be converted to a Customer.

How do I make it so that the "contact" field under the "New Lead" screen is not a mandatory field to be filled out?

Actually this situation happens a lot where you have an invoice with no Line items. Method user starts to enter in a record, then decides doesn't want it. I agree it shouldn't be that wsay but it happens.
Once a Customer is entered then Method "saves" the record to generate a Invoice or SO header record.

I only have this problem occaisonally, not constantly, so it has been hard to track down I guess. They opened a case a while back, but have not heard anything from them.

I'm getting this error message when trying to customize one of my custom screens. This is in my own account and the name of the screen is called custom fields

Hi Alex,
You should not be able to have a transaction with zero line items, it should create a sync conflict in Method. I've tested this and the changes do not sync over to QuickBooks, however a sync conflict is not generated. I'll open a ticket with development to address this, but in the meantime just keep in mind that this ...
