You could try experimenting with different Roles in QuickBooks to see if any of them allow you to sync TimeTracking on a non-master-admin user.

A Sales Order is an agreement for your customer to buy something off of you, which you may or may not currently have. It is generally used in a product-based business. Sales Orders are transactions and do sync between Method and QuickBooks, assuming that they're supported by your version of QuickBooks.

In QB Work Orders are Sales Orders, but not in Method. For what I see WO's dont sync with anything in QB. What's the advantage of having it configured this way instead of WO being a SO by default?

I did as you described and was directed to the New / Edit Estimate screen. I believe this is the expected behaviour. Are you experiencing something different?

For almost a year since we started using Method, we have used a QB user other than admin for the quickbook login and MIE worked great. Now I'm told the qb login should only be the admin user for us to avoid this time tracking error we had.

There are To be emailed in QuickBooks? checkboxes on the various transaction screens in Method (Customers > Invoices, Customers > Estimates, etc.).
