Good - glad to hear you are back to normal.
So, yes, if QB is corrupted, it's going to play havoc with Method (or any 3rd party app for that matter) since the data it is providing is invalid and can break the sync until the file is fixed.
I guess the best advice I can give is if your QB is getting shaky, backup OFTEN.

Hi there,
My suggestion is to have them log in as Method users. This would provide you with more off the shelf features, more robust and flexible options in the future.
As you start to ad your Method users to your account (Customize>>>Users) you can set up the sharing between them in step 6 of the wizard when you edit each user. We ...

Hi Dave,
Let me start by saying I appreciate your help.
I still have 3 open issues which I did not address in my previous post.
1) Do you think utilizing method in the scenario I described is a good solution? Did you encounter other companies which do the same?
2) When QB is closed I’m assuming we can still enter data ...

KieranD - The steps above shouldn't be above your ability....you don't have to do any coding (that's all done for you), it's just a copy and paste. It looks waaaaay more intimidating than it actually is. So just keep that in mind for the future.
Google Apps - our company also runs on Google Apps. So, yes, we know ...

emiller,
You defiantly don't want to delete the customer table since this table syncs with QB. In-fact you probably won't' be able to even if you wanted to. You are more concerned with the customer records in the table not the actual table itself.
Ok…a couple of very important concepts when importing leads. You must be ...

But, I set them up differently in SalesForce (which also supported multiple contacts per Account). In SF, I set them up as one Account and Multiple Contacts. That's the ...

Hi Lance,
Thanks for posting. Some of these questions are similar to a thread which I responded to on Aug-3-2011. Part of that thread I have pasted below.
Since the bins are auto-created by the sync engine, I have confirmed you cannot customize this process. You can however follow my previous advice and export the InventoryControlBin and other ...

Tracy,
I tried it out in QB, and was able to duplicate the problem. As suspected, QB is very confused by the address.
Check out this screenshot, as proof. This is what you have when you click Edit for the address in QuickBooks:
It doesn't know how to deal with the address at all, and start duplicated parts of the ...

That would be a possible quick way of doing it. But here's my thoughts:
1. We can't guarantee the sync engine will be open - so users depending on the daily task will find it undependable.
2. There's an authentication problem - since we need to create a security token in order to open a screen. Right now there is no ...
