Which screen and field are you referring to? I don't have a "Balance" field on my Bills screen.

You cannot edit the Update link on the line item grid, but I'm fairly certain it's simply a Save Grid action and a Refresh Grid action. You could definitely add those actions to your Save button if you wanted to.

In the editable grids, like in the bill line expense grid in the bill screen, when we enter a bill we have to click on the update link at the bottom of the grid and then the save buttom, can this two sets of actions be combine into one?
