In what table did you find the cost field? The only cost field I see is the on the EstimateLine grid, which actually refers to the Rate field in the EstimateLine table and also the SalesPrice field in Items. And yes, both reflect the Price/Rate field in QBO.

What didn't work? Did the link not take you to the right portal screen? Was there no link? All you have to do is change the highlighted part to the screen you want from the dropdown box. There should be two actions to "Create Short Method URL". You probably want to change the first one.

I suppose it would depend on how many customers are duplicated, and how much information is different. If its a couple of quick updates to a couple of customers, doing it inside Method might be easier. The more records and info, exporting to Excel might be the better route.
