Hello Mahlon,
I would like some more information. First, what table were you using (ie. was it a QuickBooks or Method table)? Also, was it a custom field or a standard field on the table? Finally, was the Unique in Method:New appear to be read-only or did you get an error?

The EstimateLine grid's Update link saves the grid and refreshes it. My thinking is that it's simply a Save Grid action and a Refresh Grid action.
