***resolved***there was no error but it wouldn't let me proceed because there was a space in the name.
the "next" button on step 1 of 3 for dropdown wizard doesn't do anything. i can't move on the step 2.
is this an issue with browser (i'm using chrome, but tried firefox as well) or something else?

Creating an Invoice from an Estimate is not something that is allowed through the API. This is why there is no stock functionality for this. As there is in Classic, there is still the option to make a Method-only solution for this.
