If the buttons are the only thing on the last row or at least the cell next to them is empty then following the steps above will keep them all in the same cell ie. next to each other. It will effectively merge the two cells into one which should allow all 5 buttons to be shown on one line.

You can control the button padding, color and shape through the Display screen found under Customize > Display.
