How are you applying the filter? Are you using a custom screen or standard screen? If you are using the standard calendar when you apply the filters do the usernames display along the top? What is the exact tab link name for the screen you are using?

The case number cannot be modified it is actually the RecordID (an auto-incrementing field that exists in all tables). What kind of case numbering system do you use right now?

It is not required to update to the new CRM but you can still install the new CRM on your account and as long as you don't uninstall Method Full Blown from your account you will have both.

I use Chrome and haven't come across this, I will test this out further and see if I can duplicate it or come up with something.

One thing that you could do is instead of selecting a contact from the drop down click on the ... next to the contact drop down, it will bring up a search window which will give you better search/filter option so you can select the correct Customer:Job.

For field services this would be a 2 step process. First you would need to add the customer phone number into the activity table as a linked field and then edit the Work Order template and drag the linked field onto the template.
