I followed two tutrial videos (on Youtube and blog) and am trying to create customer report in the report designer.
When I select Customer in the master table to create a new report, I do not get anything but empty "NewDataSet" in the field list. Therefore I can not select any data from Method.

I believe I am in the correct spot. Let me know if I am off. There is a button with an ellipse, ... , that you can click and bring up the New/Edit Opportunity Stages menu. Here you can enter a new stage or select an existing stage to edit the record.

You are correct in that you need to create a new screen for this. For the screen, you would need to create a new tab so you can set user permissions. The permissions would allow certain users to see the read-only screen and not the editable invoice screen.

I want our Sales Reps to be able to view Invoices but I do not want them to be able to make any changes to the invoices or add new invoices (orders will be entered via Sales Orders). I understand that we need to customize the Invoices Sheet but not sure how to do this. Can anyone help?

Is it possible to access the conflicts table through the API even as a read only? I'd like to be able to periodially poll the table to see if there are any conflicts and if someone if there are any so they can be resolved as quickly as possible.
