mlepitt,
How do you currently create an RMA? Do you already have something customized in Method or are you doing this in QuickBooks?
Also maybe a better question isn't how you can handle it in Method but how you want to handle it in Method, you can customize Method to fit your desired workflow.

Custom fields created in Method do not sync back to QuickBooks but custom field in QuickBooks have the potential to be synced back to Method but currently the SDK used to sync with QBO does not allow access to QBO custom field. The SDK used to sync with QuickBooks desktop does however allow access to custom fields.

Emily- Since there is no built in field for this it won't yield any advantages. You should be fine with going with the new field.

Hi Gary,
Are you able to send emails from within Method? One other thing you might want to check is if you edit your Web Form and go to steps 6 and 7 and make sure that the from email matches the user account that is setup in the email preferences for method.

Deb,
If you delete the series it will delete all unmodified Work
Orders, but anything that already been modified or saved will have to be individually
deleted.

Hi JameQ,
This is possible. In Method there is a Character Function action that has the ability to concatonate to text values together, you can place this action on the Lose Focus event of the Name field so that once the field is populated and the user navigates away from it, it combines the values and then you can place that new value on a field ...

Hi Matt,
You would need to add a grid to the screen and make that grid reference the PropertyInformation table. If in the property information table you have a drop down the references the customer table then you can add it as an attached grid, otherwise you will have to add it as a detached grid. We have a webinar HERE on Grid objects.

In that same screen where it lists the tab link, in the Open Screen drop down select CRM_ EditCustomer and for the tab link name enter Edit Customer and click Add Tab Link once it is added uncheck Show. Test the Go To and let me know if it works now.
