No problem. I have not found any patern to the problem. At first I thought it might be when a line was added to an invoice in Quickbooks, but I have since found that seems to work okay. It is possible the line was added while the sync was not on, but I would think that is suppose to update when the sync comes on ...

Keeping the 5 spaces appears to have worked, but then, I'll have to wait for synchronization.
As stated earlier, in the Quickbooks tab, the most recent "Changes Only" synchronization time is 6:04PM, and the most recent "Push" time is 6:18PM.
But I updated at 6:22 PM so we'll see when those times pass my update time. ...

Orginally when we developed the sync for QBO, there was an issue on Intuit's side with SalesTaxCode so we had to hide the field but it looks like they have now resolved that bug, so we are now displaying that field again.
Let me know if you are still having an issue with the Taxes.

Hi Wilna,
Are you asking if the Method Engine should be installed on other workstations in the office? If you are, then it should be installed on any workstation where QuickBooks is installed on, that opens the QuickBooks file that is synced to Method.

Thanks for clarifying. I received word from our dev team that this was a limitation but has just recently been made available for third party developers, however this may take some time for us to implement the use of it within Method. Regardless, I've put in a ticket and will update this post once I receive an update.

Wow. That "works". Disconnecting the sync engine makes the problem go away. Saving empty values works just fine while disconnected.
Connect it back up and the problem persists yet again. QB changes the value BACK to what it was before it was empty.
There must be bad logic in dealing with updates in the sync engine where empty fields ...

Apparently my daily full-sync that is scheduled for 7pm did not happen on Sunday night, 8/29. Yesterday I did a manual full-sync and the YTD sales field populated this morning! I'm not sure exactly how that would cause the problem, but it is fixed. Thanks for your help!

Our Sales Receipts haven't sync'ed over to Method since August 11th. We are getting an error message in the sync engine that says (Error: QuickBooks found an error when parsing the provided XML text stream.) Not sure if this is related or what inforamtion you need to figure this out. Thanks
