Thanks for the reply. As we are not a "customized" license, I am going to repurpose BillToAddressNote for "created by/timestamp" and ShipToAddressNote as "last updated by user/timestamp".

Hi retrotel,
You should be able to clear the form by clicking on the More actions… button on the bottom of the screen, and then clicking Clear / New. This should work to clear all the fields on both the Sales Orders and Invoices screens.

Is there a way to exit a form without saving? We have had problems with reps having sales orders or invoices open in method after they sync to QB. In order to exit they have to save. Sometimes, the form has been marked up in QB and the save process undoes the markup in QB. How can we avoid this issue?

Here's my answer. You can achieve this by various methods, herewith mentioning few of them.
Save the hyperlink code into an action result. I used <a href="*" target="_blank">*</a> . The "*" are place holders for the actual web address.

Is there a way to create a custom field that will hold a URL that links to a webpage (like a link to my Google Drive account), so when a user clicks on the link it will open a new window to this webpage?

Are there currently any issues with the web service or database? I'm able to perform "MethodAPITableListV2" and "MethodAPIFieldListV2" operations but am consistently getting timeouts trying to peform the "MethodAPISelect_XMLV2" operation.

If it is an accounting table, you should be able to use the “TimeModifiedAccounting”, which is the modified time according to the synced record from QuickBooks.
If it is a non-accounting record, there is no automatic timestamp feature. But if you place a “LastModifiedDate” field (spelt exactly that way) ...
