Hi John,
Sorry for the late reply. This must have got lost in the crowd.
Contact is not a subset of Entity. The Contacts table is a Method only table. It has linked fields from the Entity table, but they are separate fields. The Contacts table hold all of your contacts and does not sync to QuickBooks.
Hope this helps,

I have added lots of custom fields to my Entity/Customer/Contact tables before - I just wanted to double-check which table was best to add the field to, and which child tables would also contain the field.

H to showello Mike,
The Entity table is the base for Customers, Contacts, Vendors and Employee. The issue is that an inheritance exists between the parent Entity table and it's children that is not controlled in the interface. Messing with the Entity table can be tricky. I would recommend putting the TagList ...

Unfortunately, I have run out of time to complete my instrutions on how you can do this. I will respond to this forum thread tomorrow with my explanation then.

We are trying to find an easy work around for adding hyperlinks to the "Job Name" field. Just copying and pasting a website URL will only leave the text in the job name but no link. Adding html coding <a href=""></a> does not fix this issue. Any help or information on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Hi JWS,
Finally got it!
There's only one way I can think of doing this. You could set up another field in the InvoiceLine table called "user" that defaults to, say, "everyone". Then, create seperate list items for any item you want multiple prices for ... i.e create "Service Call" for $5, "Service Call ...

Hello MindyMcCasland and welcome to the Method Forums,
I believe there would be a couple of ways to do this, I will do my best to give you some of these possibilities. Would I be correct to assume that you are technically looking to filter out the last invoice created for each Customer? If this is the case, I can think ...

Hi JWS,
Thanks for the message. Just wanted to let you know I'm working on figuring out a way to do this, and I'll get back to you once I've got it.
