Hi Sharon, The plugin should not really interfere with anything. Both the gadget and the plugin interact with Method and vice versa and give you the ability to do things on the fly. Remember that the plugin works within Outlook and obviously you need to be in Gmail to use the gadget, so I don't see how you could overlap and enter activities ...

For example, if you are in your Edit Customer screen, add actions Update record in Table to update the contact in the Contacts table using the EntityRecordID of the customer and SpecialType as contact.
