Those are the correct gmail settings.  smtp.gmail.com is the Gmail server address.  Port 587 is used as the default port for gmail accounts.  You can leave the Port blank if you like.   I have not heard of anything changing in Method that would affect the emails.  Google may have changed something that is deflecting ...

Hi Matt, Sorry, I haven't been given a timeframe for adding the security tokens, my understanding is that it will be available with Method V2, however I will have to get confirmation on this.  Let me get back to you. -Ben

Mike, The AltContact is the alternate QuickBooks contact. We sync this contact and obviously the main contact. Newer versions of QuickBooks have the ability to create more than two contacts, but Method can only sync to the main and alternate contact. - Adam

Hello,     Give the Method Support line a call at 1-888-925-6238 x2.  We can lhelp diagnose the problem.  I can also point you to our Help Center article on setting up an email provider.  I am aware of no changes to the email setting that would cause issues with Gmail. - Greg
