• Re: Occurrence work orders question

Thanks Matt! Additionally, if you click the Update Selected Work Orders... tab in the Work Order List screen and change the status (i.e. from Not Started to In Progress) the items will be copied in all updated occurences. Jason

  • Re: How to get the total number of items on invoice--possible???

Hi jad, Some customization can be done to achieve this goal. I don't think you can add the count right on the grid but you can add it elsewhere on the invoice. Add a textbox or a label object somewhere on the invoice. This will be used to display the count. Next add the following actions into your Save button. ...

  • Re: Changing screen layouts/Adding fields to the Gmail gadget

Hi theavsspecialist, Unfortunately at this time, unlike regular Method, you cannot customize the Google Gadget. You also cannot use any custom tabs, screens, fields, or actions that you have in Method. It can only be used 'out of the box'. Hope this answers your question. Jason

  • Re: Dropdown field

Glad to help! Through some customization this is definitely possible. Just make sure your new fixed asset dropdown field is in the table that the grid is based on. Post here if you get stuck with anything. Jason

  • Re: Dropdown field

Marcelo, To create a dropdown field, you should start in the Customize>Tables/Fields tab link. Find the table that you would like to add the dropdown field to, in this case probably the ActivityJobItems table. Click into Edit Fields... and from here the Field Type option will let you choose a new ...

  • Re: work order

Hi Marcelo, I think the best way to describe this is with an example. A lawn care company may have a series of occurrences for each client. Due date start could be used for when they start each job, and due date end could be used for when they should approximately finish the job, in this case probably a few hours later. If you ...

  • Re: customer additional info

Hey Angie, You can actually see the Record ID on the stock Customers and Contacts List screen. It's hidden by default but if you click the settings gear at the bottom right corner of the grid you'll see an option to display it. Make sure to refresh the grid! Please see the screenshot below. Additionally, you ...

  • Re: Transaction grid in edit customer
Is there a way to have a subtotal in amount column for just the invoices without calculating in the payments?
The subtotal will only total what is currently on the grid. What you can do is create a new filter view that shows only invoices. This can be done in Step 3 of 9 in ...

  • Re: Transaction grid in edit customer

Hi dottie, This should not be the behaviour of the stock screens but if it is a customized screen it may be a simple fix. For example, it's possible that the subtotal at the bottom of the grid is totalling the Amount column rather than the Balance column. If you can post a screen shot of the grid (or email it to ...

  • Re: Portal

Thanks Mary! I would also add that there are some stock email templates that include a link to the portal for the customer to use to sign in. An example is the CRM_CaseUpdateForCustomer template. If you are creating or editing an email template you can add the link by using a merged field. ...
