Mike, I was able to recreate this.  I'll put in a ticket with the team, and update you when it's fixed.  In the mean time, you can add the discount separately and it should reflect as a negative number.   - Adam

Kitty, Possibly.  That screen is under Customize > My Account, so it would depend on whether you have access to that tab link.  If you don't, you'll have to get access to it from your administrator.  The Default Email Preferences can be set for each user's email address. - Adam
