Hi Mahlon, Consider the case where you're viewing a week other than the current week. You wouldn't want the calendar to flip to today's date in this situation, which is why it goes to the beginning of the week. Hope this helps. - Justin

Alex, Yes, I agree, I think this info would be helpful.  I would certainly have liked to have it.  But, now I know.
