Method Community

Hello,

I've successfully used the FedEx Shipping Manager inside of QB Enterprise to have the FedEx tracking number inserted into my customer's invoices. The tracking number goes on the next blank description line of the invoice. What I need help on is how to have Method "see" that information after QB puts the new description on the Invoice.

Now, I've determined that when Method looked at this invoice, it removed the tracking number from QB??? 

Error code from QB:  3/2/2012 11:20:29 AM 'Invoice' 1 conflict(s) - open Method and click the QuickBooks tab, then Resolve Conflicts

Error code in Method: QuickBooks returned an error when adding/modifying a accInvoice record. The error was: There was an error adding, modifying or deleting 253-1330714251 because it is already in use. QuickBooks error message: The transaction could not be locked.. Hi Shane, 

Have you done a "Changes - Only Synchronization" or a "Full Synchronization"? That resolve conflict error from Method doesn't mean that it had removed the tracking number from QB. That error message only means that Method couldn't either add, delete, or modify a specific invoice in QuickBooks because that specific invoice was either in use by another QuickBooks user on another computer or you have two instances of QuickBooks running on your computer where that invoice is open in the second instance of QuickBooks.
