    Method email question.

When an email is sent using the Send Email action within Method, does Method keep track of the sent emails?  If Method does keep track, where do I look to find the sent emails?  If Method doesn't, is this a situation for the Outlook plugin?

    Answer

    Hi viret56,

When you send an e-mail, the Send Email action within Method doesn't keep track of the e-mails that are sent. You can thought keep track of the e-mails that are sent through an activity.

Within an activty, if you place a check in the checkbox for "Send an Email?", you will open up a section called "Send an Email" which will allow you to type in an e-mail or choose a template to send off as an e-mail when you select a template from the "Choose Template" dropdown in that section.

The Outlook Plug-In will though allow you to add an e-mail message that is coming in from Outlook to an activity for a contact in Method either as a single activity or an activity to a new or existing case.

    I hope that this helps.

    Ronen
