Looking to make Active Case's int Work orders. Has this been done before.

Looking to make Active Case's into Work orders. Has this been done before.?  I need to be able to quickly go from web form input to case (or skip the case and go to work orders on the waiting list) to work order to invoice as fluidly as possible.  I also am looking to email contacts when they have gone from waiting list to a selected date on the calendar.  Is the best way to accomplish this through the API's?

    Thanks for your input

    Answer

    Hi Kenneth

We have done some work around this.  Depending on your objectives you may be able to use a combination of Method's web forms, portals, and case data structure to create the desired customer interaction.

Of course you can start from scratch and build your own data structure and interact with your data using the API.  This has the benefits of structuring your data specifically to your business model with workarounds.

Is this work you are planning to do yourself?
