I feel like there is an easy answer to this.

From a screen i want to Close and Save like normal but uppon closing or even before closing and saving i want another screen to open up.  I have tried this with both show screen and show screen in pop up.  The problem is the next action after calling the new screen to show is "Close Pop Up Screen". When i press the button it closes the 1st screen without showing the new screen first.  I re-open the screen then that second screen pops up with references to the newly reopened screen.  I have treid putting the show new screen after the close pop up and that does not work either.  I have many actions in the save button that happen so i am not sure if they are tripping it up.  So before i tried stripping it down to bare bones i wanted to reach out to you to see if what i want to do is even possible.

With one button on first sheet......Do actions> Show Pop Up screen> allow input then click button to save info on second screen >then close both windows.  Maybe there is a way to close a screen from the second screens??

        I believe I know what you are trying to accomplish.  You want to be able to enter information in a second screen, when you are closing a first screen.  Once you are done entering your data from the second screen, you want to be able to close both screens, save and exit out.
      I would try this.  On your close button from your pop-up, have this sequence of actions.  Save All Sections > Close Pop Up > Go To Tab Link.
      There is no close screen action.  If we did, where would you gsend the user?  Use the Go To Tab link and choose your Home tab or related tab where  you think your users would usually end up after closing the screens.
