    Errors on Customer Edit Screen

I recently customized my "Edit Customer" screen. I was advised to use a test tab so as not to blow up Method should I make an error (great idea). Unfortunately, when responding to the question "replace current tab links with new screen" I said "no". Everything is fine, but now my control buttons (anything referring to another screen) do not work. Here is what happens when I click "save and go back". Also, "close" does't work either.

Could not run the 'Go To Tab Link' command, as there was a problem locating the Tab Link 'Customers and Contacts List'. This Tab Link may have been deleted, or if you copied the original Screen from another account, you may also need to copy the Screen this Tab Link 'Customers and Contacts List' belongs to as well.

    Additional Information

    Action Sequence Order:7

    How do I fix this?

    Hello Shelley,

I would recommend re-copying the default screen and trying again.  There is no way to re-connect the links without modifying many things.

Check also your actions on buttons and on the OnScreenLoad actions.  To check the action on screen load, go to your screen designer with the view open.  Click Advanced... and go to Step 2.  Make sure OnScreenLoad is selected.  Click edit on the sub-actions to see fields involved.  I believe you removed a field on the screen that is needed in this action.

As a reminder as to copy a screen, you can either double click the current screen and choose Customize to copy.  You can also click Copy on the screen (Customize -> Screens) and go through the copying steps, making sure 'Replace all links on existing screen' is checked.  To switch back, go to Customize -> Tabs and Edit Tab Links... for the correct tab link.  Then select the screen in the appropriate dropdown and click 'Finished Editing Fields'.

Action Sequence Order^7 means that the seventh action on the button has a problem.
