Method Community

Hi!

We're new to Method, we love the Gadget. But every time we use it to add a new activity, it opens a new tab of Method...so we end up with tons of open tabs in Chrome with Method open. 

Is that how it's supposed to work?

Or do we have a setting wrong?

Hi RadioGuru,

Unfortunately there's no setting that you can change to make this the default behaviour. If you want to avoid having so many tabs open in your browser, what you can do is actually drag the link to a currently open tab, and it will open inside of that tab. So instead of just clicking on the "Add Activity" link, you'll click & drag the "Add Activity" link and drop it on top of the tab you want to replace (at the top of your browser window).

Edit: You should actually be able to add the activity right from within the gadget, by clicking "Add Activity" at the top of the gadget beside the individual's name.
