So I currently have a situation where my technicians are scheduled wth blank work orders via the scheduling and invoicing add on. Because they do not know the extent of the job before they go to it to assess it, they need to be able to enter the estimate items into the work order, then generate an invoice from the same, so that they can collect a payment right then and there.
I spent an hour and a half on the phone with support this afternoon trying to solve this problem, only to be told in the end that this was not possible and that I would have to have my technicians log out of the mobile login on their ipads, log into the main version, generate an estimate there. As far as im concerned, this makes the mobile version basically useless. I'm not that concerned with my technicians in-out times, and to have them log in to log out just to create an invoice, then log into another program to collect a payment is absurd.
Has anyone found a workaround for this?
