    Custom Reporting

    I looked at the report creation options for customers and cases.  Is there a way of generating custom reports that include (and possibly can be filtered/sorted by) user created fields?  We have a number of custom fields in the Cases table that we would like to include in reports.  Is an option to that simply creating a display screen that will show the data?

    Hey Mike,

    Yes, it looks like you may have answered your own question. I often do this for clients. If you would like something to save in a spreadsheet, add a button with an export action to the screen. If you would like to preview a report in pdf format, email it, print it and or save it to your desktop,; then use the generate report action. Howver, after Method generate a report in this format, you cannot sort it or filter it. All sorting and filtering needs to be handeled on the screen or in a spreadsheet after exporting.
