    Adding Information to "Contact Information" - Opportunity Tab

    Hey,

    I've been trying to figure this out all day. Below is a screen shot of the area I am talking about on the Opportunity page. I want to add more information to be shown in the "Contact Information" section once I select an existing lead/contact name from the dropdown menu. For example, their email address, and anything else I want shown for easy access. I know you have to add a linked field to it and have been trying to do it all day but with no success. I just want to show more information that I have previous record in the "lead/contact" tabs.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi trungtran,

    A "Linked Field" is something you would add under Customize > Tables / Fields. You would click on Edit Fields... for the Opportunity table and add a linked field using the wizard, linking it through the Contacts dropdown.


    Once the information you want is in the Opportunity table, you can add it to the New Opportunity and/or Edit Opportunity screen in the "Contact Information" section.
