Method Community

I created a few Custom Fields in Quickbooks for Contract Amount but they were originally created as text. When I added the field to the contacts table in Method, it was retrived as Entity text.

I just changed the Custom Field in Quickbooks to Numbers with decimal but the field in the contacts table in Method did not also convert into numbers or money.

Is it possible to convert it to money so I can then view a subtotal on the Contacts Grid, without losing the info that is currenttly entered in those fields?

Please advise.

Due to QuickBooks SDK limitations, Custom Fields sync'd over from QuickBooks to Method are forced to be Field Type: Text.

You cannot alter or change that Field Type.
