Hi All -
I have a screen that
exports the daily invoice line detail from a grid that is triggered by clicking
on a button that only exports only selected rows in the grid. The workaround to
not having a ‘select all’ checkbox that applies to multiple pages of checkboxes
on a grid is to specify the maximum 200 rows displayed by default and use the
“+” sign to increase the rows and check ‘select all’ on the top of each page. I
am curious if there is work being done to aspects of the Method platform that
would affect this workaround because I have had trouble with it in the past 3
weeks.
Previously, if I
had to export our daily invoice line detail and we had 1600 line items, I had
no problem increasing the number of rows to 200 and checking the ‘select all’
button on all 8 pages. Recently, I have been able to select all of the line
items for the first 2 or 3 pages and then once I try to select all of the
checkboxes on pages 4-8 there are some line items that are already checked. It
seems that the rows in the grid are shifting as I navigate to the next page
because the last few rows are sometimes checked off when I haven’t even been on
that page to ‘select all.’ My export button is set to export only the selected
line items (in the event that I do not want to export every row from that day’s
orders) but I will only have about 1400-1520 rows in my spreadsheet upon exporting
when I should have 1600 – the shift in rows as I navigate pages makes it
impossible to actually select all of the checkboxes and usually a handful of line
items are missing. Have you heard of this problem before? Please let me
know if this is something that is in the process of being fixed because the
export of every line item is critical to fulfilling our customer’s orders.
Thanks, Birch
