    Add a Table but not Showing Up in List. Error when Adding Additional Table.

    Hi all,

    First I'll say that I tried to change the "Sales Center" tab name to "CRM" and then received an error message:  "The tab reference could not be find to delete. Please select the tab and try again."  The tab name changed regardless of getting this error message.

    After getting this error message, I changed the tab name back to "Sales Center" and received the same error message. (but the tab name changed back regardless)

    After doing this, I tried to add a table called "Contacts" with a screen in the Sales Center tab.  The browser hung for a while and after about 3 or 4 minutes, I shut down the browser. (I was using Firefox)  When I came back in, I noticed that the Contacts table that I was trying to create was not listed in the table listing so I tried to add the table again.  When adding this table, I now get a message "Table Contacts Already Exists", but the table is still not listed for me to edit/delete.

     Hi Selwyn,

    Welcome and thanks for using our forum.
    When changing the tab name what steps you took? Did you press the enter key during the process? I tried changing the tab name and I didn't encounter this error.  I went to Customize > Tabs, double clicked the name of the Tab and changed the name then hit the Tab button.

    It appears as though the base components of the table exists in the account's database and it probably has not been configured correctly. If you can let us know your account name and if it is fine with you then we would take a closer look at what happened to your "Contacts" table behind the scenes.  We may have to delete the Contacts table and then we will try creating it again to ensure it works.

    Hi Amanda - Thanks for the reply.  I probably did press Enter instead of Tab when I received the error.  If that causes the problem, you may want to clearly state that on the Edit an Existing Tab screen. (or even better, let people push the Enter key once they have edited the tab name)  Danny reset my account and deleted all data and that fixed it, so I cannot troubleshoot any more.

    After adding the Contacts table, it did not show up in the listing of tables...  and I couldn't add another table with the name "Contacts".  All fixed now, due to the account being reset.
