Quickbooks integration login issue

    Quickbooks integration login issue

    We are using Quickbooks desktop and have been using Method for long time with no issues, however for some reason the Integration Engine keeps logging out and in return stops syncing. Why would this have all of a sudden start happening and how do I fix it?

    Hi there Brian,

    Sorry to hear you are having troubles!

    When the sync engine logs out - are you seeing any errors display in Windows? Is QuickBooks shutting down at all?

    You may just need to reinstall the sync engine to get this working again - You can find the complete Uninstall Steps in This Help Centre Article

    Ben,

    I was having a problem with the sync engine so I uninstalled it and am in the process of trying to re-install the sync engine. That is where I am having the issue, there is something blocking the installation of the sync engine. I keep getting an error saying "Your administrator has blocked this application because it potentially poses a security risk to your computer". These are the steps that I have taken: I am the administrator of the computer, after downloading the application from Method, I went to the file properties and unlocked it, disabled Kaspersky, tried installing with QBKS open & closed (I right clicked on the application and selected run as administrator) and still no luck.

    Hi acspw,

    Can you tell me a little more about your Windows environment? Are you currently using a server variant of Windows? If So - I'll likely need to send over some specific install files used for Windows Server.
