Method Community

I've noticed that method designer is now not displaying the actual field names anymore, and instead is displaying the label names where the field names used to be.  I now have to do a show summary and look at the data bindings to see what the field names are.

This is extremely awkward when customizing screens, and I'm wondering when this will be fixed?

I have tested this in my Method Accounts and all my fields in the designer are coming up with both label and field names.

However, if you are lookig at an object then it does not have a field, so it only shows the label

If this does not answer your question then please let me know and provide some screenshots of the issue.

I think maybe you've misunderstood my problem.  I also see both label and field names in the designer, but the field names are incorrect.  They are supposed to be the actual field names from the associated table, but instead are a repeat of the label name. I believe in your screen shot it shows the problem, because the field name appears to have a space in it, which is not allowed.

Here's some screen shots of mine:

Here's the same field as yours showing the space in the field name.

Here's the same field after changing the label.

And here's the summary showing both the same label and the correct field name that it represents. Note that the field name does not have a space in it.

I hope this helps to identify and resolve this issue.

Please be advised that the resolution for this issue is currently in our "June" Version on our Stage site (look at the option at the bottom when you sign into Method) .
