Currently, there isn't anywhere that custom screens are posted to share or buy. This isn't a new idea to Method, but the issue with such a place a comes down to the maintenance of the screens. Eventually, we’d end up with a large list of screens, some good and some broken, and it would be hard to separate the two. This would result in users copying screens that don’t serve the purpose they were created for or just don’t work the way the user thought. This can create quite a headache for the end user.
With that said, if you are confident in the screen design, the person who created it and have seen it in good working order, then go ahead and try it out.
There are some things that need to be considered when copying screens from other accounts. First and foremost, be sure to copy a screen from the same accounting package. In other words, a Quickbooks Desktop screen to a Quickbooks Desktop screen, and QBO to QBO. Copying for example, a QBO screen to a Quickbooks Desktop screen, can cause issues as you’ll end up with fields from a different accounting package.
Another point to consider is that when screens are copied over, you copy over all of the fields from the other user’s table. If the screen and fields in the table were poorly thought out, you would end up with the same poorly designed screen and fields added to your account.
