Hi.

Example screen editor to aid question: [ A1 ] [ A2 ] [ A3 ] [ A5 ] [ A5 ]

I was wondering if there will be a way to prevent a text box in cell A1 from being smashed so close to the caption of  an item in cell A2. I was hoping to at least get away with leading blanks in the caption of A2 but method removed the leading blanks and leaves the caption's first letter next to the end of A1's textbox.

The screen editor could really use some form of allignment tool(s).

Leaving an extra cell between my fields makes the fields too small, but extending across that field smashes the fields too close together.

Hi Paul.

Great tip =).

So far this works for all the fields that arent underlined (since the spaces are also getting underlined).

Is there any documentation that shows other imbedded-text tricks? (if more exist).

I just noticed this doesn't work on checkbox captions.

Is there a textbox-only limitation ?

And if so, is there any workaround for padding objects such as the cehckbox?

Checkbox captions are already closely aligned to the actual field. Are you trying to create more of a space between the caption and checkbox in this case?
