We received the following email from Lucas:
I have had 2 customers say that they cannot pay with American Express through the payment gateway. They keep getting an error massage that the payment was rejected. Could not find anything in the forum about this. Any ideas? The other payment methods work fine as far as I know.

You would need to ensure that the account with your payment gateway provider (Authorize.NET) supports payments made with AMEX credit cards. For example, Autorize.NET allows payments with Visa and MasterCard CC's by default but AMEX and Discover cards need to be requested by customers (you). If your account is setup to accept AMEX and you've configured your Payment Gateway correctly in Method but only AMEX payments are failing then I would suggest you contact your payment gateway provider to investigate the issue.
