A user emailed Method with this question:
Could it be possible to create a hyperlink in Method that can carry CRM actions? This way, in the customer notes field, we could send CRM users to another area where the details are stored. Also, QB users could at least see that more information is available in the CRM.

You also mentioned that you store your additional notes elsewhere in the CRM because the Notes field from the Customer table has a character maximum on it. I think your best bet here would be to create a custom field in your Customer table with a higher character maximum that can hold your additional notes in Method. This custom field will not sync with Quickbooks, but you can place it on the same Method screen that has your Quickbooks notes. This way, you don't have to go elsewhere in the CRM to see your additional notes.
There is an action in Method called Get Short Method URL that will create a short URL that can be used to direct users to a specific screen and active RecordID in Method. This might be useful for you to direct Quickbooks users to your Method screen that holds the additional notes. With a couple of Character Function actions, you could create a message with a URL that says something like, "For additional notes, please go to the following link...". If you enter this message into the Notes field when needed, your Quickbooks users can use it to go directly to the appropriate screen in Method. The only problem I can see here is I don't believe it is possible for Quickbooks to pick this URL up as a hyperlink. Your Quickbooks users will have to copy and paste the link.
