    Method Sync Engine stops with no error in logs

    We have clients that connect to a Windows Server hosting envirronment to access their Quickbooks data files.  When we run the Method sync for any of these clients it runs through and gets about half way completed and then the sync just stops.  There are no error messages, and the engine log shows nothing being wrong.  I can try running a full sync or a changes only sync, it's the same outcome.

    We've only started seeing this issue on Server 2012 R2.  If I switch that same using back to the Server 2008 R2 platform, the sync performs properly without issue.  The user account, permissions, network config, are all identical.

    I've opened several tickets with Method support and after extensive testing the conclusion from them is that Windows Server is not officially supported therefore they cannot provide assistance.  They recommended I put a post here to see if anyone else has ran into this problem in the past.
