Is there a way to sort a dropdown field in a grid. For instance on the AddEditWorkOrder page there is a dropdown field as Job Item on the work order. Right now it sorts by the first column which is the product names. I created a new field in the table called ItemOrder which I label each item with an letter of the alpha bet to display in the oder I would like. However, unless I put that field in the dropdown in the first column I can't get it to sort by it which I want the product name to be in the first column.

The only way to sort a dropdown is to make the sorting field the first column of the dropdown. There unfortunately isn't a way to sort it by secondary fields, or a way to force a sort.
