How to set fields as *required* for new opportunity

    How to set fields as *required* for new opportunity

    would like to set the following fields required for any new opportunity:

    phone, e-mail, zip, opportunity amount, etc.

    Let me know please!

    Hi GetRXd,

    You can use the Conditional Warning action to do this.

    Here, the Conditional Warning action is checking if the value in the Opportunity Name field is empty (more specifically, "equal to <blank>"). If it is empty, the specified Warning Message will be displayed to the user and no more actions will get processed (in other words, the record will not be saved - this forces the user to enter something here).

    You can set up a Conditional Warning action the same way, to check if data has been entered for any field on screen. Conveniently, the other Save buttons on this screen (Save & New, etc) are set up to reference this Save button, so you'll only have to add your actions here to affect all of them.

    Also, how do I set reminders for activities? I'd like them to be e-mailed to the e-mail associated with the user!

    Can you give me directions on what "table" to edit?

    another question:

    I can find invoices for a particular customer account in their transactions list from method.me desktop, but when i search their transactions from the e-mail side, there are no transactions listed in his account. Any idea why?

    The account does say: 

    Type Customer (INACTIVE)"

    when you search his account from the e-mail widget if that makes a difference.

    Hi GetRXd,

    You can activate Email Reminders for activities by navigating to Customize > Tables / Fields and clicking Edit Table... for the Activity table in the list. These reminders will be sent 15 minutes before the time of the activity.

    Conditional Warning is an action in the action list. You can add it to any object on any screen, as you would with any other action. Here is the action set on step 2 of the Save button properties, we can select Conditional Warning from the list of available actions and then click the Add Action button to add it to the action set:
