For the Date Function, the formats for a day are kinda misleading and the same.

'Short' is the same as 'DDD'

'Long' is the same as 'DDDD'

I get these results when using a session current date/time and when using a specific date.

I would like to see the sma eoptions given for month here as well, like D and DD

Forgive me if Im misunderstanding what you are trying to do here, but the following date functions should work;

(using todays date 30 March 2016)

MM = 03

MMM = Mar

MMMM = March

dd = 30

ddd = Wed

dddd = Wednesday

If you enter a lowercase 'm' in the date function, you are returning the Minutes rather than the Month
