Is there a way to change the formatting of phone numbers on mobile screens so that they show up as a link that can be dialed with a smartphone?

Hi Michael,

You would need to use a label with the following tag <a href="tel:tellink">NUMBER</a>, where number would represent the number you are trying to dial.

If you take a look at the FieldServiceMOB_WorkOrders screen(Part of the Field Services App) you can see this in action. When looking at that screen look at the Select on the grid that's where the magic happens.

I am glad that it's possible, but a little dissappointed that the function is not applied to every phone number field on every mobile screen in Method.  I don't have the Field Service App installed, nor do I feel I should have to install an app just to find out how something that should already be in Method works.  And more importantly, I am not willing to spend my time customizing Method to make it do the things that it should do out of the box.

Please raise this issue with the team and see if this can be made on your end.

Our mobile screens are due for some revisions and when that does happen I will make sure to pass this suggestion along.
