    Sync Engine Windows 2008 TS

We are hosting QuickBooks on a cloud server. We have two users accessing QuickBooks simultaneously in multi-user mode via RDP.

The sync engine starts automatically for both users when QuickBooks is launched. I think this is causing QuickBooks to crash intermittently.

How does the sync engine resolve conflicts if there are two or more instances running and both trying to sync with Method?

Is there any way of preventing the sync engine from launching in the configuration?

    Thanks.

    Hi Andy,

If you need to, in Quickbooks you can prevent the sync engine from launching automatically by going to Edit>Preferences>Integrated ApplicationWhen does Quickbooks crash? Are both instances of the engine trying to sync at the same time? Is there an error message in Quickbooks or in the engine?
