    Inventory tables

I noticed that in a new trial account I just opened that a lot of Inventory tables are now missing.

Below are the tables in our current paid account created earlier this year.

    InventoryAdjustment
    InventoryAdjustmentLine
    InventoryControlAutoBinSelection
    InventoryControlBin
    InventoryControlBinSerial
    InventoryControlBinType
    InventoryControlLocation
    InventoryControlLocationGroup
    InventoryControlMonitor
    InventoryControlTransferOrder

and in a new trial account

    InventoryAdjustment
    InventoryAdjustmentLine
    InventoryControlLocation
    InventoryControlLocationGroup

Are the ones not in the trial not retrievable from QB's anymore? Just wondering as about to embarc on a inventory project and was hoping all QB's inventory info was accessible in Method. Maybe some of the tables are not needed anymore, but if QB's is restricting inventory info to Method dont want to waste my time researching.

    thanks

    Ben

    Re: Inventory tables

    Hi Ben,

The tables you see in your old account are from the discontinued Method Warehouse app. Over the summer, we removed these tables from any new accounts, which is why you don't see them in your new trial. These weren't tables that connected to QuickBooks, so there's no lost functionality.

All of the standard inventory fields in QB is available (QTYonHand, QTYonOrder, QTYonSalesOrder). Our beta sync engine also has the ability to sync to Advanced Inventory in QB.  This is only available through the beta sync engine. If you wish to work with this new feature, just send me an email and I can send you the beta version of the sync engine.

    Re: Inventory tables

So we have the beta sync engine running now but I am trying to see where the advanced inventory information is? In quickbooks you can run an advanced inventory report and see the locations of inventory but I cannot find in Method the location field (Bins) to reproduce the same report in Method.

    Any clues?

I am using the item inventory screen in method trying to reproduce the Inventory Center screen in Quickbooks but nothing in the Iteminventory table links to the InventoryControlLocation table.

    Am I missing something.

    thanks

    Ben,

If you've completed a full sync since installing the beta engine, you should see the new fields and tables.  Could you enable MethodSupport and email me the company account?  I can take a look and try to find them.
