Login Failed Error Loop upon import attempt

    Login Failed Error Loop upon import attempt

    Error Message: ERROR:Login Failed: If you have attempted to log in several times, please wait 10 Minutes before trying again


    Apparently my Method Session had timed out just prior to attempting an import of updates to the Activity table.  After the import failed, Method showed me the records that would have been updated , each alongside a login failed type error message.

    I logged out.  Logged back in and the same error was waiting for me on the Import Export screen.  I logged out and tried a different browser, thinking it was a cache issue, but to no avail. And per the instructions, I've logged out for longer than 10 minutes several times.

    Any changes upon the import export screen resulted in the following error:ERROR:Could not load the table list values. Please try reloading the page.

    I've tried reloading but just get the same errors.

    I appear to be caught in import / export limbo.

    I've also tried "fixing errors" by checking "do not import" next to every record.  This has not helped either.

    Advice?

    Hello James,

        You may have to call us on the Method support line.  1-888-925-6238 x2.  We are able to clear out the failed logins for you if you do get stuck in timeout.  It is cumulative, so if you keep on trying to log in, it will add 10 minutes to the time you are signed out for each unsuccessful attempt

       When tables are not loading, I usually advise to log in and out.  You've tried this, so we can skip this step.  The one thing is to check if the user has the correct permissions.  Go to Customize -> Users, and click on Edit... for the user you are logged in as.  Go to Step 8 or 10.  Check to see if the user has access to the tables.
