Very Slow

    Very Slow

    The Method server is exceptionally slow today.  Is there something going on in particular that is causing this, and if so any idea when it will be resolved?

    Hi Maureen,

    My apologies for not getting back to you yesterday. To my knowledge, around the time of your posting  we did not receive any other complaints of poor performance in Method. We may have just been experiencing a heavy load on our servers as this was during our peak time. Please let me know if this continues.

    Hi Audisho,

      This has been continuing off and on.  This morning it is taking sometime 45 seconds or more just to open an activity.  I'm sure Monday morning is a busy time for the server, but is this long of a wait to be expected??  It is an unreasonable amount of time to waste waiting.

    Hi Maureen,

    Everything appears to be fine on my end and we have not had any other complaints recently regarding performance. Is the performance poor on our stock screens or is this occurring on your custom screens? Try running a speed test and post back here with your results. Here are a few things that you can try:

    1) Clear your cookies and cached files: http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser's-Cache

    2) Disable any browser plugins

    3) Run Method in an Incognito or private browsing window

    4) Run Method in a different browser

    If none of this helps and your speed test shows that it’s not an issue with your internet connection, give us a call at 1.888.925.6238 x2 so that we can investigate.

    Hi Maureen

    Your speed test shows that you have more than enough bandwidth to run Method. We usually recommend running Method in Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. The performance of both can be degraded by plugins / extensions or having too many tabs open.
