    Method’s New and Improved Design

As a small business, you need easy-to-use software that is also enjoyable to work in every day. As such, it’s our pleasure to announce the release of a new, updated user interface (UI) for Method on Thursday, December 3rd!

    What is it?

Method’s updated UI features simpler, more intuitive design and navigation that allows you and your team to work in Method with greater ease.

    Why should I be psyched?

Simplifying the way small businesses get their work done is what we live for here at Method. So, it only made sense to evaluate our customer’s experience of Method and simplify it!

The new design makes working in Method easier. It’s cleaner, intuitive, and more approachable, so new team members can get up and running quicker.

Let me take you through some of the improvements…

On your Method Dashboard, your app tiles now feature descriptions and have been redesigned to focus on the most important action related to that app.

We understand as a small business owner you’re working on a million things at once, so we’ve added a new feature to Method to help you keep tabs on what you’re working on. You can now multitask in Method worry-free!

The new “unsaved work” notification at the top of your Method screen provides an indicator when you have navigated away from tasks that require completing. No more “What was I doing?!” moments when you have to switch gears and check something on a different screen.

What you’ll probably notice most about this week’s change to Method is its modern, new look.

Hey, Method — here’s looking at you kid! ;)

No, but seriously, if you’re like many small companies running your business in Method you are looking at it a lot. That’s why we’re psyched to release a sleeker, more aesthetically pleasing user interface for your team to work in everyday.

And, it’s not just about making Method better looking — applications that reflect modern design standards are more likely to be adopted into daily work routines. We’re confident with the updated design you won’t have any difficulty getting your team using Method to keep your business organized.

Our Partners Love Method's Updated Design

Earlier this year, we gave members of our partner community a preview of the new design and here’s what they had to say…

A More Detailed Look on What’s Changed

For a more detailed look at what has changed with the updated design, please refer to our Education Team’s presentation deck. And if you’re interested in a more interactive tour, they’ll also plan to host a webinar to review the changes. Register for the webinar here

Love the new design and working with it on the back end!  Its so beautfiul, and fast!  Of course, I have a few suugestions:  :)

    • if the font were slightly heavier, it would be easier to read on my laptop.
    • I wish I could reorder tiles on the dashboard, wso the ones I use the most are on the top.
    • I wish I could hide apps that I don't use on a regular basis, wthout disabling my access completely.

I was wondering how we can switch to the new UI.  Upon login, I still get the classic UI.

    Hey Eric,

You have to get your Method Coach to give you access. I have sent her a message to follow up with you.

Re: Method’s New and Improved Design

As a long time Method User and Quickbooks Enterprise User, I'm curious if the "New" Method will be available for desktop users in the near future.  We have been patiently waiting for these updates as our workforce becomes more and more mobile, the need is greater today than ever for the Enterprise customer to have access to Methof on a Mobile solution.

    Hey Shawn,

Method:New is available for existing QuickBooks Desktop users. You just have to get your account toggled to allow access to the New version. I will get your account manager get in touch with you for next steps.
